Shawna Carol embodies the
deepest knowing in teaching the Way of Song. She is deeply wise,
knowing, honoring of sacred space, reverent, pierce and playful. My
journey began at a SpiritSong workshop at the Women of Wisdom Conference in
Seattle. From the first chant she let to the individual opportunities
to ground, breathe and tone, I had a knowing. "I have done this
before. Teaching SpiritSong and the Way of Song is the life's work
that I have been searching for." Now as I sit in circle with this
community of beloved teacher trainees preparing to walk through the
threshold and stand together as teacher, I feel a deep sense of gratitude.
This journey guided by Shawna has taken me deeper and wider than I could
